It’s Time for More Feminine Leadership

This year we are celebrating International Women’s Day by talking about Feminine Leadsership and Inclusivisity and why it’s so important today for sustainability and culture change.

Beyond Bamboo has always championed moving from competition (‘I win, You lose’) to supportive competition (‘I win, you win', we all win’) by encouraging and empowering feminine leadership qualities within the hospitality industry (and beyond!) – with sustainability as the driving force for change.

In this Net Positive Hospitality Podcast recorded for International Women’s Day, Tiffany Kelly - CEO of Beyond Bamboo discusses with Inge Huijbrechts from Raddisson Hotel Group and Anjana Raza from Sustinable Hospitalty Alliance about an important movement that is changing the way we live and work. Feminine Leadership.

Feminine leadership emphasises qualities such as empathy, intuition, inclusivity, and collaboration, and offers a powerful alternative to traditional masculine leadership styles that emphasise control, competition, and hierarchy.

How can a move towards feminine leadership harness a more collaborative and productive way of working? Pre-competitive collaboration is often seen as feminine leadership in-action and aides’ industries in coming together to overcome challenges.

These challenges include climate challenges. We’re seeing more and more industries recognise the need to change the way they work if the industry is to have a sustainable future.

How can a move towards feminine leadership harness a more collaborative and productive way of working in hospitality and support a more sustainable industry?
